Jay Olson is an experienced and passionate creative consultant, instructional designer, and corporate trainer. He has empowered business leaders and sales teams in diverse market sectors to deliver their message with the confidence and clarity their ideas deserve.

As a veteran director, writer and performer Jay has crafted hilarious, high-impact business theater, trade show entertainment, training videos, and viral video campaigns.

His client-focused, energetic approach has helped create positive, measurable, and lasting change for a wide array of clients, including; Google, AT&T, Buick Motor Division, YMCA, 1-800-Contacts, Exelon, Navigant Consulting, Advanced Micro Devices, SSDC Chemical Products, The University of Notre Dame, The University of Texas, DePaul University, Northwestern University, and Corn Products International. 

Jay is an Ensemble and Faculty member of ComedySportz Chicago, where he is also an Artistic Associate. Additionally he performs and coaches at iO Theater, with the hip-hop/improv hybrid, THE BEATBOX, and as the ‘Olson’ half of Cathcart & Olson. He is honored to have performed and taught at comedy and theatre festivals in Amsterdam, Dublin, Toronto, Chapel Hill, New York City, Austin, Seattle, San Francisco, Washington D.C. and sweet home Chicago.
